The Whitehall Road project involved replacing a railway bridge in Leeds city centre within a 54-hour possession. The scaffold consisted of 2 no. support towers and a 36m cable support bridge. The structure was required to be light enough to be pre-erected & craned into position, yet had to exhibit absolute minimal deflection under load.
Scaffold in use; both bridges can been either side of rail bridge. May Gurney site team prepare to remove existing bridge.
